A Grade II listed building once a charity school dating from 1778 offering education in Old Sunderland for 36 girls. The site has been restored and refurbished. The school room will be dresses as a Victorian schoolroom. A rare Georgian building providing a glimpse of the past.

Walk up Church Walk past Trafalgar Alms Houses - The next building is The Donnison school. If you are travelling by car there is parking available on Church Street East either outside Holy Trinity Church, Sunderland parish church or on the car park area on Church Street East.
There is a small reception area, shop and garden. Refreshments are available on site.
